In the past few years, while only 10% to 15% of GAMSAT examinees in the general population were accepted to medical school, approximately 70% of MedPrep students who sat the GAMSAT were admitted.
A recent GAMSAT score-audit of students in our 2008 round of courses found that, on average, MedPrep students achieved an admirable total GAMSAT score of 62*.
Of those students who had taken GAMSAT previously, over 78% improved with an average total score increase of 6 points. Based on 2007 GAMSAT score cut-offs for interview selection and the past performance of MedPrep students on GAMSAT and at interview, we expect between 65% and 70% of our 2008 students to gain admission to medical school this year!
